Firstly let me say im very happy with my P1 battery life. I often can listen to music on the way to work as well as on the way home, and do pretty much anything and the battery will still last through to the following evening at the very least.
However something strange happened this week. I took my phone of charge one morning and went to work as normal, listening to some music on the way. I didnt get to check my phone till lunch time by which time it was almost empty. An hour later and it was dead!
Anyone had this experience before? Ive since had no problems but that one freak thing seems a bit suspicious.

Since its been alright before it sounds like the charger isn't connecting to the P1i properly so you think its charging but its not. It's happened on my W810i which i'm still using till I can upgrade to the P1i. Its very annoying when i have to wave the phone round like an aerial till the battery icon show's up charging.
I'd say make sure it charges tonight, if not try a different charger.

Some apps can also drain the battery. Perhaps by accident wlan on, some app running in the background, combination of. Or as said, perhaps the charger just didn't connect properly...

Yeah I think it must be the charger connection.
Thanks

Happened to me with my W810 too - I had it plugged in and the little charge thingy was filling up as normal, but when I unplugged it the next day it was flat still, even though the battery symbol was full!
Turned it off and on, lo and behold an empty battery symbol. Charged again and this time it worked. Weird...

I had this happen a couple of times, once during the day and once at night. Both times the phone was fully charged & I had no extra apps running and the screen off, but it just drained completely.
On the P990i, leaving the camera app open in the background used to do the same thing.
I ended up sending the P1i back for credit as it seems some of the ghosts from the P990i are still very much there, this included.
Bag of shite to be honest.

Any Java apps running?
I've heard stories of Java apps running in the background draining the battery...
I have everything open including the camera but I always close the java apps to be on the safe side and never had the issue...

camera running on background is an absolute killer for battery life, be it on Nokia S60 or SE UIQ phones...so check if you did that...

I used to find that having the camera running in background on my P990i drained the battery. But not on my P1i.
Best regards,
