hi guys,
i have looked around and tried to connect my laptop for two weeks now with no luck.
i have a new laptop with vista and i set up a bluetooth connection with my m600 (that was painful too) and now trying to set up a network connection.
on my old computer with xp, i was able to connect to the internet and surf using my t-zones account. for some reason, i simply cannot connect even when the vista says that i am connected to the internet using my gprs or dial-up connection via my bluetooth modem.
i would really appreciate your guy's help with this. to make things easier i'll try and explain my connection.
i have deleted all the data accounts on my phone and set up a new account using the SE website. i test on my phone and i can surf.
i have installed mRouter and PC-Suite and they work just fine (thank god!)
i can connect to my phone using bluetooth or USB with no problems.
when i go into the networking wizard and set up a new connection, i have tried both packet data (gprs) and dial up.
for gprs, i used the currrent settings from the phone and when i try to connect it shows: connecting... authenticating... and then i am connected. i can see the data "globe" on my phone flash and be steady as the connection is established.
my vista asks me to identify the network and i choose HOME just for lowest security.
my network and sharing center displays that i am connected to the internet using my bluetooth modem.
please help, my ears are leaking blood from all the overload...
