> Constant tone when answered phone

I came upon some weird incidents with my T68 (m --> i) yesterday when trying to make a phone call or trying to answerin incoming phone calls.
My friend tried to call several times and when I answered the only thing I got in my phone was a constant tone such as the one on a landline. When trying to make a phone call I got the same tone as soon as a connection with my friend was established. The only thing my friend heard was a click so he thought it was a prank caller
However, when I turned off and then turned my phone back on it was back to normal and worked fine.
Anyone else had this problem?
