i wanna get my mad-keen cyclist of a husband a phone... between us we have a nokia 1100 (ur probably wondering how we survive!) which he always leaves for me when he goes cycling in case i need it, should i take the kids out!
the thing is he's also mad-keen on photography too, and is always describing things/incidents he's seen/witnessed when his camera (a-too-big-to-carry-in-ur-back-pocket-nikon) would have been v useful!
i've gotta approach this project from the "camera" angle. in other words i've gotta get a phone with a great, easy to use cam... with a suitable number of megapixels to keep him happy. the fact that it's a phone is just an added bonus... u know, just in case he does get knocked off his bike and ends up in a ditch!
the crunch is i have to stay under £50... if i spend more he's bound to have a sense of humour failure!
any ideas much appreciated!

I know its not the best camera phone around but for the price range you are looking for I would try ebay or here for either a k750i/w800i or a w810i, both have great 2 MPX cams with auto focus...

i concur !
For 50 pounds you won't get a better prive/value ratio than the k750/w800

w810 imo. comfy keypad, nice features, camera, radio, mp3 player... the white would fit every ladies hand

then get a k810. its photos are convincing me that this one is a great K phone. and it's not as-big-as-you-cant-carry-it-in-his-pocket phone

if money wasnt an issue an n95 or a k850i(when released *if the cam improves with retail FirmWares*) but if you dont need such a good cam then k810i or k800 if u dont mind having an older model as that would be a lot lot cheaper second hand

You can buy i-mobile 902 on e-Bay, for only 249 US, which has 5 MP CCD camera! If you don't want to buy unknown brand than I would go for K800/K810 or even K850i (but it's going to be expensive when it comes out)!
