Seeing as I supplied so many iPhones for you people! I thought we should have a little iPhone thread where we can share some of our awesome apps and mods.
For tutorials
http://www.widgx.net/iphone
First off, get Installer.app it's great for installing stuff.
Next, get TapTap Revolution and install this mod.

I was the first person to shout, no mms, no customizable ringtones, no 3g... I'll pass. BUT coupled with my N95 (I have two mobiles anyway) I've got EVERYTHING now. My justification is that I always take an mp3 player and psp for video, now I don't need those two.
What do you all recommend?

Now I've unlocked quite a few of these phones by now, and from my experience, NO TWO ARE THE SAME!
Each one had a tiny fault in my opinion (Perhaps I'm just a perfectionist).
From the three that I have no, I notice that the top left of the glass of one of them is a little bit inside and not flush with the frame unlike the others.
One had a bit of glue on the base
One has a tiny scratch (only noticable under the workbench spotlight).
Now that's not all, I've also noticed that the backlight is not the same!
The one with the indented glass has a much realistic white tone, the rest have a slightly yellow hue.
I am happy that they put plastic on the screen, but I do not understand why they didn't slit holes in the ear peice or the button area and let us use it as a screen guard!

Well I wouldn't bother using one for mp3 myself, the K800 serves that purpose just as well. However as a display device for video, photo gallery viewing and web browsing no one can deny the iphone is an excellent tool.
IF I could afford one, and knew I could gaurantee Apple won't brick it on me, then I'd certainly be interested in one as a SECOND device. I could never use it as my sole mobile device since it's so restricted.

I doubt it'll ever get bricked. Come the 3G version I'm sure that the dev team will have modded firmware.

true and it's just a matter of not updating until you know a third party hack is available for the update. Unlike the nongs in my link who 1. updated even though Apple clearly stated the phone would be bricked if it had 3rd party customisations, and 2. who actually told apple the phone had 3rd party hacks! Why not just say "I dunno, it just stopped working"? It probably would have been reflashed under warranty and away they go!

OOOOOO I'm in.
Favourite app so far is the NES Emulator, can't beat a bit of Track and Field, and Super Mario Bros. When you are bored shitless lol.
Some of the summerboard add-ons are cool too, allowing to remove and adjust icons etc.
Not really went too much into it, but natetrue has a VM piece os software which allows you to remotely control your PC via Wireless which is also pretty sweet.
