Hi. Im planning to buy this headset to be paired with W950i. I have one major concern though.....does this headset deliver the same bass element quality as HPM-70/82? If not I'll just stick with the HPM-82 or can you recommend another bluetooth headset?
Thanks folks

Thanks for the advice, I've been hearing really good things about bose, but i need something that I can use comfortably (not bulky and without those cumbersome wires) during my travels (as I travel a lot).

i have hbh-ds220 and use etymotic er6i and the sound is good. they are paired with my p990 and the anoying interference you get with wired headphones is gone. the cable on my phones is a bit long at 5ft. i was torn between getting the ds980 for the extra functionality or the ds220 be able to use my own headphones. i think i made the best choice.
one thing i have been wondering is what mp3 bit rates this supports, from the a2dp specs it says that if the receiver does not support the compression that the sender will transcode it using a basic codec.i wonder how this works in practice if use lcg jukebox? i thought that app does the decoding, which means the stream need to reencoded again which would not be good for battery life and possibly quality. i will do some testing between lcg jukebox and the built in player using different bit rates and encodings.
