I have a problem while trying to connect to Internet via WLAN on my P1. I can connect to my network, but i just cant browse. After hours of trying with differnt soutions i found out that i can connect to my router interface from opera only when im am disconnected form Internet or my DSL modem is disconnected form ruter (Linksys WRV54G). Wlan and browsing works flawlessly on other 2 PCs, 1 Mac,PDA and Nokia N80, so it must be a SE P1 problem... I already updated P1 with latest firmware via SEUS and still not functioning...
Thnx for help!

The P1i is 'difficult' when it comes to hooking-up to a WLAN. Please search on the forum for the various threads on this subject. I think most people have experienced difficulty, I know I did!

i'll save you a bit of hardwork
connections>accounts>watever_it_is>edit>more>advanced>power save - Turn it off.......
just disable wlan, reboot phone , enable wlan and try to see if it works
also if possible use wpa2 instead of WEP. (have figured that with wpa2 people have had no problems)

On internet account dialog in Internet groups, do you tick the box which appears by account name or do you just leave it blank?

With my new P1i just for the second day I had the same problem with WLAN connection. At the same place my N80 connects and P1i donīt. Even disabling WEP or WPA checks. Well , after a lot of tries I could connect and test all situations (with or without WEP / WPA). It worked. For me the solution was bring the phone very close to the WLAN Router (DLink 524). So it appears to be that P1i have a very bad wireless LAN antenna. When the signal is very strong no problem to connect. Astalavista babies !

Read the WLAN threads mate, there are 2-3 of them. I had this EXACT same problem, as have others.

Once connected, does your WLAN icon stay illuminated? Can you open a web page from a web menu rather than from the browser's home page?
