Hi Boba,

No it won't as the battery compartment in the new N95 is larger to accommodate it and why they had to remove the Lens Protector. Although both devices look similar the new one has had to be modified to accept the larger battery.

Marc

Backwards compatibility would have been much better as far as the battery is concerned. It would be much better if the 8GB N95 battery would last for many days campared to the last one without dying out. A lot more better if it has an extended lifespan. But lets wait and see.

yeah, thats right, looks really weird and i have very bad experiences with third party batts, sometimes they offer the same ( even more mah written on the label ) or less performance then the generic batts. the price is ca 12 euro for this "beauty"

Hi Boba
the N95-8GB battery does fit into the normal N95 only when you remove the N95 battery cover and get a crystal case/cover on it, then what you do is put in that new Bl-6f battery leave it bare without cover and put your N95 in a crystal case/cover thats the only way. I had the link for photos of this but got rid of them because i don't think many want to do that.
