Ive always had problems sending and accepting picture messages from my friend in the uk. he has vodafone and a k800i. I used to have a razr on the cingular network but since we were having problems with the mms he sent me an extra k800i that he had and wasn't using in hopes that we could send picture messages back and fourth. i was able to unlock the phone and it works great. regular texts work fine back and forth...and i can send pictures to anyone here in america, but they never go through if i send them to him in the uk. and same with him. his work to anyone except me. I had posted this issue on a few other forums and the result is to remove the vodafone software and try installing the basic sony ericsson software. Im pretty much ready to do that but wasnt sure if there was anything else to try.

I agree with greggy ! I think It is NOT yet POSSIBLE to send MMS worldwide, ONLY - sms for that matter !

Is video-calling (3G) now ACCEPTED world-wide

Maybe it's because both receiving-end parties have network tie-ups

exactly... mms sending and receiving between different networks depends on a cooperation ( contract ) one of the reason that mms is a flop on some way, cos its not working worldwide, like sms do. the operators couldnt agree many times according costs imo. i sent maybe 2 mms in the last years, according to this problem, almost never got the one i sent. so i prefer email over mms. faster and much better way to share pix

@jojo ur probably right seing as at that time i was with australias largest network so it makes sense...

Whereas now im with a virtually unknow network so it might not work overseas as much or at all...
