Hi everyone, need some advice,
I had an accident 2 weeks ago, a girl infront of me braked went in the back of someone and i went in to the back of her, she says that i went in the back of her and then she went in to the person in front but i dont believe this to be true. All this was only at 5 to10mph at the most.
Anyway i know the person i went in to, she is claiming whiplash off my insurance but i know there is nothing wrong with her. Can i do anything to stop her getting this on my insurance as it is made up? she has got a doctors note but a doctors note for whiplash is as easy to obtain as a £5 note. Can i get her checked over by a pysiotherapist to have it confirmed? I heard that they can now take X-rays which show up whiplash and damaged tissue.
Also the person she went into is also trying to claim off my insurance, my understanding is either way, if the girl in front of me ran into him 1st or if i went into her then she went into him, that he would claim off her as she should have left a safe gap in front of her. Is this true?
Where do i stand in all this?
Thanks

Normally the person who drives into the other car is said to be at fault. If you went into the back of her then she normally can claim from you. The same as for the person who hit you, you claim from them.
As far as the whiplash goes, just let your insurance company sort it, thats what they are for.

Absolutely right. If there's any doubt about her claim, your insurance company can insist that she takes an independent medical examination before paying out (and blotting your copy book).

Agreed and i'm pretty sure your insurance company will do everything they can to prevent having to pay out.

Not really, they should normally be claiming from whoever directly went into the back of them.

If he was at the back then the person in front of him should claim from him. You contradicted your own statement.

No, no. Lamont asked if the person at the very front, who was hit by somebody else, should be putting a claim in against him. They shouldn't be doing so because they were the person in front and as such should claim off the guy in the middle and not Lamont. Lamont's car did not collide with the person at the front at all.
Which is what you said and I was saying, I think?!?!?!?
