> How K550 feels like

If you are buying it for the Cybershot name, then its a waste of money. With 2.8 mm focal length, the fotos taken indoors are pathetic. Even my laptop with 0.1 MP cam can take better shots. I think the K750 should be called the Cybershot. Other than the camera, the media player and sound output are fine. Themes can be downloaded to the fone and can be even edited on a computer before sending it to the fone. Applications and games can also be installed. Exempting the camera, I would give an overall 8 out of 10 for this phone.

I have bought it only a month ago. I havent modified any drivers. Whatever modification we do to the driver, the focal length is a problem for night shots. Can the quality be increased by updating the cam drivers? You advice is appreciated. Also help me in this if you know, what does the metering function do?

I brought this phone about 15 days back, ofcourse the camera module in k550 is smaller then the k750, nothing can be done in this regard, however otherwise on other aspects this is phone money well spent.

The pic quality ar almost like K750 (despite the smaller lens). But the K550 can take very good pics, see the official thread

I just bought the K550 yesterday and loving it. The short focal length is not a problem if I'm taking a close up photos because the LEDs are just insanely bright. But personally I don't expect great quality pictures taken with the phone. If the price you paid for the phone equal to the quality of the pictures taken, than this phone is absolutely amazing. For US$170 (plus tax, in Indonesia) I couldn't get anything better than the K550.
