Is it possible to move the file system of the k800/k790 to another folder.
Similar what the .vkp patches for the W810 can do. The .vkp patches do this:
Moves acoustic drivers, camera driver, custpack, layout, menu/flash menus, mediaplayer, java apps/games, system sounds and language files to phone memory (/usb/other).
If we can do this then we wouldnt have to flash our phone everytime to change a driver or menul, etc.

move it to /usb/other
This way when you connect your phone in the normal file transfer mode you can acess the system files without flashing.
For example, all you have to do to change your camera driver is navigate to usb\\other\\ifs\\settings\\camera in explorer and copy paste.
Or, if we can't move the files, can we create a shortcut and put the shortcut in the system folder to point to /usb/other/sys where the actually files would be. (this might be how its actually done on the w810, i don't know)
I know this can be done on a w810.

i know what you mean. but these files are contained within the FS folder. so you cannot move the whole folder.
for example:
can you move the Windows folder to another folder? this will give you some(little

) errors.
i think it's the same with this...

ok, makes sense.
How does it work on the W810 then?
Does it use some sort of shortcut method like i mentioned?

a patched is applied that let you move the those files from that folder to OTHER folder. but i dont think that a patch will let you do that(move FS)

Patches tell the phone to look for the files it needs on a different directory rather than the default.

Can we patch the k800/k790?

Wait until CID52 patching is released.
Then it suppost to be able to patch the phone to move the fs folders like we did on our K750s and W800s
