Hi,

I was never be able to update my P990 with SEUS, but I was fine with it since my phone was working fine. But now problems (such as scheduled RSS reader not working and camera not responding properly) make me finally needing a long due update. But I have the following problem since day one from SEUS:

"No update needed
Latest software installed"

for my current P990 firmware (very outdated):

phone: CXC162037 R7A001

organizer: CXC162090 R2A05

CDA: CDA162007/6 R2A04

I have a Hong Kong version P990, anyone can help me to finally update my phone?

It seems as though your phone is operator branded? Otherwise you definitely should be able to update your phone.

In that case, change your CDA number to a generic one.

from the wiki, seems that your cda is stuck to an old version... probably it's best to change the cda then update to the last firmware.
