> swapping keypad on a s500i (with pics)

Hey guys, ive just swapped my green keypad with a silver one, and it is not hard at all.
if you guys need help ask away =]
stuff i have done to my s500i:
flashed it to w580
chucked on s500i flash themes back on
chucked on lots of flash themes including t650 and w850 themes
swapped green keypad to silver
put in new walkman2 skins
ill upload some pictures for you guys to see

Was it hard taking the S500i apart to change the keypad, as I'm getting one soon that has the dreaded cracked keypad and am planning to change it.
In fact, if you don't want your green keypad any more let me know!
Edit: Though just noticed it seems you live in Austrialia, might be a bit far for posting just a keypad! Oh, and well done on the mods, very nice job!

i brought this phone from Ebay around 2.5 months ago, but i cant seem to find it in Australia yet, i have just seen the w580i around.
yep! i live in Australia, under optus in Melbourne
@ sammy_boy; i think it will be cheaper if you order a new keypad from Hong Kong as sending it from Australia might be a bit expensive.

@alexxgg - Conversion from S500 to W850 is possible as the phones have identical hardware. It is done by flashing the firmware. put firmware (software) from W580 on the S500.

strizlow800 - yep you are about 99% correct
theres 1 thing however, as the s500i does NOT have an pedometer (i think thats what it is called), the fitness function of the phone will not work - also theres no radio either
lucky i do not use those functions, but i would love to see how the pedometer works.
for me personally, i like the s500i design better than the w580i

lets see the back cover and is it possible if you can take just the w580i body with out the cover to put itin the s500i to fix thermometer and fitness software.
