Hi all

I must have clicked on the wrong option when opening the GMail app. I should have selected 'This session only' but I think I must have selected 'No Never' when it asks for permission to activate the internet connection.

Is there any way to fix this without having to uninstall the app and start again?

TIA

DP

control panel > security > MIDlet permissions > Google Mail

in "user permissions" select "internet access"

in "interaction mode" select "ask every session (default)"

Or just try the email client in the phone for a better experience.

The Gmail app is much better (I used to use both) ... but the response time of the Gmail app is so much faster, and the interface is very close to the full web version. Plus you don't eat up phone/M2 memory.

Although the email app is much better if you need to read email offline.
