My friend's K750 is draining battery fast, full bar in like five mins of music play, radio or just about any other use. The 'optimised charging' message doesnt leave the screen while charging, and it gets so hot when in use. What could have caused this, or most importantly how do i correct this?

Or possible moisture damage, phones can often drain batteries very quick if they've had slight water damage.

already tried using another battery, same thing. i'm not sure its moisture but what would be the solution to that? thanx in advance

Hey you did not mention weather its a new cell phone or no?If its a new one then it could be that you have not inserted the charger properly...or it could be a defective charger/battery.

its not a new cell, the problem is nothing to do with the charger or insertion, its simply a phone fault. All i want to know is if its a software problem that could be solved by flashing before giving it to someone to open it up. i'd really appreciate any help.

My gut feeling is still some kind of moisture damage, it can occur very easily and with the slightest bit of moisture ingress. Does the phone heat up abnormally too?
