Hi guys hope you can help out. I just purchased an sE p1i and been using it for a couple of days already. I played the golf game and then all of a sudden the screen went blank. I tried everything from removing the batts and sim and putting it on again and now my phone is not working anymore. After plenty of tries itll turn on but after it loads it goes blank again. Is this defective or should I just do a master reset? if yes how do I do it? Thanks

Master reset can be done in settings, it's fairly simple.
Although I'd take the phone back to where you bought it and ask for a replacement as it's not very reliable for a new phone.

ITs weird I tried charging the p1 and now its workng again. I remember when I was playing the golf game it still had plenty of juice maybe the batt display froze thats why I thought the phone stil had charge. Thanks guys for replying. Ill be observing this and hopefully it wont happen again.

I had similar problems this weekend.
I was doing a scan for wifi and the screen went off, tried removing the battery etc but nothing. (Nothing even when plugged in to charge)
The only option was the master reset, plugged it into the update service and followed the instructions (involved holding the c button whilst starting up) ...
... BUT be warned, this deletes ALL user data and returns the phone to factory settings!.
Luckily I had only just done a full backup a few days before.

This kind of issue is one that crops up primarily with older firmware. Updating to the E30 firmware should resolve this. I had a few lockups on scan with the P1 prior to updating and now I don't have any issues with WIFI at all.
