I downloaded the above java software from getjar but the same does not work in India. Is it supposed to work only when the recipient also has cellity installed?

to be honest, i never gave any trust for those free sms tales. what does their website say or any further info how it works? it should have a manual or sg like that.

Yes; the other party must have cellity installed. My P.A. And I use it to send messages at extremely low cost between ourselves. Cellity uses your GPRS subscription, and your network bills you for GPRS usage. But it costs so much less than if you use regular SMS.

Thanks guys for your replies. I guessed as much that the recipient should also have the applet running. This is not as straightforward as a fully free sms to anyone I want to send it to.. I've uninstalled the program.
