I am now able to view other files(pictures, videos, sounds, themes)while i have a application or game minimized,yes...its simple, this is what you do:press menu>then press 6-then quickly press 6 again for an application or 7 for a game>then quickly press 1 or 2 or 3 for photos or videos or sounds...the application or game menu will show up,then choose your application or game.u can then minimize,go back and you will find yourself in the pictures or sounds or videos menu you have chosen.but once you go out you have to start all over again.i dont know if this will work with other SE phones,as i have only tried it successfully on my w900i...heres a quick summary on how i run mini.opera and view pictures:
step1:i press menu
step2:i then quickly press 6 then 7 then 1,this leaves me in the application menu.
step3:i then open mini opera
step4:i then minimize mini opera by keeping in the back button
step5:i then press the back button once, this now leaves me in the pictures menu...
i can now view pictures and use the activity button to go back in mini opera.and i can minimize again to view pictures.but once i go out of the pictures menu,i have to start all over again.
there you go,enjoy.i hope this works for everyone.i discovered this about 15mins ago when i started writing this post...i have made history.

thats where the interesting part comes in,i think the w900i is based on jp-7,which means i cant minimize java programmes and view pictures, sounds, etc at the same time.BUT,i have found a trick to do so:i can view files while i have a java programme minimized with my jp-7 mobile...and the instructions are in the first post.see, you wont find this exciting because your mobile is already based on a newer jp,that can multitask...

Hmm... That's strange, I can minimise a java app and view some other file on my W810i which according to what I read in my service menu, runs on JP-6.5. Is there something I've misunderstood here?

i just checked mine, its 6.2 and not 7...which means that this trick is useful with mobiles based on jp-6.2 like my w900i...hasnt anyone tried to do this yet?
EDIT:i just took a photo with my mobile while i had an application minimized.but i couldnt return to the camera function once i had gone back to the application _________________

I used to minimize apps all the time on my W900i

It was another thing this phone was quite good at.

Strange thing.Just tried to play a video or view a pic with a minimized java app-and it worked just fine.I dont know what the big fuss about. This is possible even in my old K750 if i remember correctly.IF u could run more than one java app at once THEN it would be JP-7.what your experiencing is system multitasking, and JP-7 main feature is JAVA multitasking.System multitasking was present since the k700.For the record-everything is tested on my W810 with JP-6.4
