Hi all!
I currently have the MyPhoneExplorer software, it used to work with the W850i. Now I'm a proud owner of the P1i but when I trying to connect it with the software it doesn't recognize the P1i.
Am I doing a bad connection or the software doesn't support smart phones.

AFAIK, My Phone Explorer only works with "dumb" phones, AKA no smartphones

I don't think it supports smartphones as others have pointed, floAt's Mobile Agent 2 should support it however? As good if not better, in my opinion.

AFAIK There's no free s/w for this. There's one shareware s/w though. Oxygen Phone Manager (OPM).
But I'm looking for answer to the same question too: is there any free s/w ?

Sony Ericsson P1i is supported in Family and Business licenses of Oxygen Phone Manager for Symbian OS phones. It manages phonebook, calendar, gallery, messages, application manager.

Well.. if you're just transferring contacts you've read from another se- phone to the p1 - then you could export the contacts you've read into myphoneexplorer, and copy that file over to the p1. Same if you want to import contacts - create a backup on the phone, copy the file, and import it into mpe. (If you only do it once in a while, that's an alternative, at least.)
