hi everyone out there..
i've been using p1 for almost 2 months already.. so far so good..
just one thing that is annoyed me...
while i received any sms from w850i ( or others SE phone) .. why i cannot see the smiley? it just shows as :-* or :* , so on..
the smiley format is different !??????
is anyone out there face the same problem? is there any solution for it??

I have recieved messages from a w810 with smilies in - they display as smilies correctly. Its possible that the in messaging app does not have a smiley graphic for :-* there are only 12 defined as far as i know in the P1.
Besides which smilies were SUPPOSED to be viewed as text, or at least they were in the good old days of IRC. I dunno, youth today

Smileys between UIQ3.0 phones and non smartphone SE phones are somewhat different, so still not all smileys code will be translated into graphics between those phones. Tesetd it with my P1i and my brother's W850
