Happy Eid-ul Fitr, everyone!
It's the most anticipated moment for Muslims around the World after completing a month of fasting (Ramadhan). We've been learning to be more patient, able to control appetite and wicked desires and closer to Allah for a month. May Allah bless us all.
In Indonesia, Eid-ul Fitr, or Idhul Fitri, is highly praised and the biggest event nationally as we all celebrate it in each aspect of life. It's the time to gather with the family again and forgive one another mistakes.

A blessed and peaceful Eid ul Fitr to all my Esato Muslim brothers and sisters and their families. May this time of celebration serve to remind all of mankind of God's love for us, and of the true meaning of compassion towards our fellow-man.

Eid Mubarak from the UK.

Allah (SWT) has once again bestowed on us the blessings of Eid, an occasion to increase our good deeds. Each Eid marks the conclusion of an important period of worship, and the determination to continue in obedience and submission to Allah (SWT). In moments of extreme pleasure or sadness, a Muslim never forgets his Creator’s Greatness, Might, Glory, and Watchfulness.

In our region this day begins with prayers at the mosque followed by visits to homes of friends and relatives, especially those who have lost loved ones since the last Eid and a visit to the graveyard. In the evening, people often go for leisure to beaches and parks. We also distribute traditional sweets for this special occasion amongst friends and relatives.

On this occasion let us also spare a thought for our less fortunate brethren who, due to poverty and deprivation, are condemned to a life of misery and sufferings. A true joy can be felt only when it is widely and genuinely shared with many. On this day, therefore, let us pledge to strive to help the needy and the poor, alleviate their sufferings and enable them to participate in the festivities of Eid.

We extend our heartiest felicitations on this joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to our colleagues all community members and all Muslims around the world.
