Few months back, I got M600i for me. Shape wise its really kool device and main telephony fuctionalities are good too. But speed of its software is too slow. Specially If I install more applications and games, it becomes dead slow.... although applications I used were not pirated nor free versions... Please suggest any way out?
Also tell me some online place from where I can get latest softwares for my cell.

Edit: corrected title spelling

You cant upgrade the ram. Install Swiss manager, that will help with keeping the memory that used a bit lower helping the speed.

Go here and get Tweak Peaks for UIQ3. It costs £5.18 (although there is a free trial for download). It speeds the M600 up dramatically. When I had my M600, it was the best software I had for it - it really makes a BIG difference!

exactly. get the latest firmware then do as jortiz says and that should help you out a lot. also the m600 is not built to handle loads of apps running at the same time so if your not using a certain application then exit it using the task manager.

First of all I have a feeling your installing everything to phone memory. This sometimes slows down the phone so I advise installing it to the memory card.

Secondly, unlike what IndianDawg said, the RAM in this and almost every phone is not upgradeable. I have no idea why anyone would say that.

Thirdly, get SEUS and install the latest firmware.

Lastly, get swissmanager pro and tweakpeaks. they help a bit. Its noticeable even on my p1i.

For applications, go look at allaboutysmbian.com

Install the apps on the memory stick and don't install all the crap you get across. Just the progs you really need.
