> K810i Radio not working

I just had my K810i joystick replaced under warranty, and after getting it back the radio isn't working between around 100.5MHz and 107.5MHz. When I try to tune up or down in that range, the frequency only changes about 1 second after pressing the button. Also if I manually type in a frequency in that range for a known station, I only get static.
The phone is using the same software as before it was sent for repair, even though they apparently 'upgraded' it. The version is R1KG001. I don't want to send it back again because it took 2 weeks, and other problems too (blame T-Mobile, not SE). It seems unlikely to be a hardware issue as the radio is fine on other frequencies, so in that case I may as well change the firmware myself if there's reason to believe that'll fix it.
Could others with updated software see if their radio is ok in the higher ranges please? I've asked on another forum but so far I'm the only one. Someone suggested I debrand the phone and install newer generic firmware, which I may well do but I'm not sure if that will affect the warranty in case it still doesn't work and I end up taking it back again.

i think they damaged your fm receptor somehow while they were "fixing" your joystick. if you are not acknowledged with fixing phones, i suggest that you take it back where you got it fixed it. that's my advice.
though upgrading/downgrading your firmware wouldnt fix this as this started when you got it back from the repair center.

It isn't interference, there is definitely a problem with the radio itself because of the way it is slow to react when I change frequency.
As for them damaging it - Well yeah they may well have done, although it's odd how the radio works fine on other frequencies. They did also re-install the firmware at least (even if it wasn't actually an upgrade), so maybe it's as a result of doing that, and installing different generic firmware could solve it. I really want to avoid taking it back to the shop I took it to before, at least not without a decent loan phone this time.
