> Connecting PSP to Laptop VIA WiFi
Bookmark topic
Hello I have been trawling these forums for about a week now, and still come up blank.
I have a dell XPS laptop fitted with aWiFi adaptor, and am trying to connect my PSP to it using Infrastructure mode, is this possible. I have been messing about with all the network settings, and other laptops can see my wireless network, but I keep getting the same error on the PSP.
“A connection error has occurred ... The Access Point was not Detected"
Have I to turn my Wifi Card Properties so it’s an Access Point. I think I have tried everything but obviously missing something.
Plus I’ve got a phat PSP with Custom FW 3.71 M33-2
All Help appreciated.
PS I would like to connect to the web and maybe also stream AVI's.

In infra-structure mode you need to connect to an access point. A computer is not a access point.

Ad-Hoc is what you want in a computer to computer network.
As JC just mentioned, Infrastructure requires connection to an access point i.e. a router.
