> Any take on K550 organizer function?

Because of needs and financial condition, I'm going to trade in my M600i with either a K750 or K550. The problem switching from a smartphone to a regular phone is that I desperately addicted to the organizer function of it. Suffice to say, all I'm asking from an organizer is to set an event that is recurring weekly. Can I do that on either one of the phone I stated above?
I need a camera phone for documentation purposes, and after looking at both K750 and K550 camera, it's a tie for me because I couldn't maximize the camera function anyway. So it boils down to the organizer function for each phones. I've tried my friend's K750 organizer... And my opinion is just... D'oh... It can't even set recurring events... That or maybe I didn't know how to operate it.
For monetary reason, I couldn't choose anything better than both phones I've mentioned, and I'm a Sony Ericsson (not Sony) fanboy.

K750 doesn't have reccurent event. Go to k550. It has reccurent events. As for the cam, k750 is better IMO.
(Klo bisa, k800/k810 aja. Lebih bagus...

is it just a weekly reminder you need?
I use google calendar and you can set it to send reminders by text message to your phone, every week, month, fortnight, whatever.
Works for me.

@opexblue: No K800 for me for sure... My father's K800 just got bricked when he is trying to transfer some pics to his notebook... SE Service Center even given up trying to resurrect it, so bad experience there.
@Abbafan: You can do that with google!? Wowza! Didn't know that. But I want something that is more 'integrated' if you get my drift, so external application just make things a bit more complicated.
Damn budget deficit, I need to save for something more important, so I can't go spending crazy... At least until sometimes around late 2nd quarter 2008 (very ambiguous isn't it).

A friend of mine got the same experience with your father. It's a bug from older firmware. If you buy k800 today, you'll get latest firmware & you won't get that kind of experience. But looking at your 1st post, go for k550.
And about google calendar, it seems interesting. But it's a bit annoying since you have to connect to internet everytime you want to set reminder...

Thank you all for the info, I've bought the K550 and the recurrent events are there, loving it. The camera is okay, I'm not expecting world class quality with its price anyway... Money well spent. Cheers.
