I am having trouble creating my own wallpapers. I have created some jpeg's of the right size (132*176 pixels) but when I try to view them on the phone after uploading via IR it says failed. However the ones I saved from the panasoincbox website as jpegs and then transfered to the phone are fine! Both are jpegs, both are the same size, so how comes the ones for the web work, but the ones from photoshop dont!

Strange!?!

It gets weird still:
If I save the image I created in PNG format, the phone displays them as normal (the gd87 also supports .png). So I dont understand what is wrong with the images if anything. I don't think it is file size either, as they range from 6Kb to 20Kb and the phone should support data of up to 44Kb. I would prefer to use jpegs as the the size of the files is lower than png's

Any ideas or thoughts anyone?

For anyone concerned the problem was solved by setting the format of the jpeg to baseline. Photoshop saves it as progressice by default and the gd87 doesn't like this

PNG takes up more size than the jpegs. Too be honset I find it really hard to tell the difference between the 3 jpeg formats and the ping so i just tend to stick with jpeg medium, as its a nice file size
