> How is the K850 for gaming?
Bookmark topic
Being a game-developer, I'm interesting in knowing how the K850 is for gaming. How is that touch-sensitive D-pad working out for you when it comes to games?
Thanks.

The D-pad is not touch sensitive. The function keys are.
Oh, and I think gaming with an accelorometer would be a blast! (kinda like the Wii)

Nah...
The accelerometer wouldn't work to well (compared to the Wii) because of the form factor.
Also, because the dpad has no centre button, it would difficult to play games effectively, especially with the '2' representing up in many games as well.

the dpad to select isnt touch sensitive, but i think that if you rub it itll activate the screen (if its not locked)

Naah, judging by the videos I saw, the accelerometer is perfectly responsive. (that game with the rollling marble looks fun!)

Is that game on the K850i too? I thought it was just on the W910i but yes it does look like fun.

People have been using the NES emulator on the Iphone and say its perfect with the accelerometer. I cant wait to get my K850i and spend the first several days looking for all the free games XD
I have several that I paid for on my K800i, my favorite being Mastermind XD.
I'm a mastermind and chess addict, but chess on the small screen is a joke.

there is a centre press button, but it's above the "up" button (where normally the centre softkey is).
