What I want to know is what's the difference between this one and the old one?? Apart from the fact that the MMR-60 has a second port so you can charge at the same time.

I never had the MMR-60 but as far as i am aware it is just a updated version with a better range. But i could be wrong.

I have the -60 and you just about have to put the phone (with this connected) right next to the radio to get best results. I wouldn't recommend the -60 to anyone really so I'm hoping to hear some better range and quality reports on this new version

Yes, I didn't read many good reports about the 60 either, although this seems to be cheaper from the outset.
The 60 was about £30 which I thought was a bit much however I have seen the 70 on sale for under £25.

This is already built in to the Japanese
W52S.
Hopefully it will be integrated in other handsets. (This phone has 110hrs music playback to.)
