Hi all,
well after I managed to sort out my pc being really slow, it has now been like a rocket and all has been well since 2 days ago.
2 days ago, I was surfing the net, and when I went back to the last page, it came up saying navigation to page has been cancelled. I kept refreshing and openning other sites and did stuff in control panel, and disable and enable the conncetion but still to no avail. My msn wasnt working either. At first I thought nothing of it. Its happend before, and always the next day it has been fine. But something odd happend. My MSN sometimes works while my internet dosnt.
Yesterday at the end of the day my internet was working again, I switched of my computer thinking it was all fine. However today, no site was working, neither MSN. Later my msn was working but not my internet. I kept refreshing my msn.co.uk homepage and after about half an hour of continous turmoil it worked and same with esato. But no other site opens, im not gonna keep refreshing an individule site forever. Tommorow im gonna ring up the IT blokes to see if they cna sort it out if its still like that, untill then any suggestions?

If ur MSN somtimes works and the browser won't work, have you tried a 3rd party browser, Ie. firefox? It won't be a fix, but it may be a tempory solution.

There are easier options...
Really, you should only be doing that if you've exhausted other options...

1. When (if) it'll let you, download and run
IeFix...
2. ...Followed by
Winsock Fix.
You'll need your installation disk (xp or recovery disk) for IeFix.
3. Go to tools - manage addons in IE and disable all of them. Dodgy plugins can sometimes cause your problem.
4. With your XP disk in the drive, click start - run and type 'sfc /scannow'. This will replace any corrupt system files without wiping all of your stuff.
Oooooh, I could go on for hours, stick the kettle on will ya? Hopefully, the tech guys will sort it out without you having to do any of the above but if they don't, give 'em a try!
