Hi,
MMS is fun but pretty slow . Sometimes, I just want to create fast message thus EMS become handy however, When I tried to insert item( picture,melody,animation...) . only predefined mono graphics are available. All those monographics (32 x 32 pixel) that you downloaded to my pictures are not available .
Have anyone tried out using non predefine icons for EMS ?
I have IR port with me,normally I got the custome made picture from the net and download it to my phone without using WAP which in long run could be expensive.
Anyone know how to do that ..do let me know.
thanks.

Some of those monographics might be GIF, since they are often intended to be used as background pics in T65, T39, R520 etc.
EMS can't handle GIFs.

You have to upload .wbmp files to the phone. This is the format used by the EMS images...

As you all know ,we only have 30 of BW images to choice in T68 when we write a EMS message, and I tryed quite a lot of mathod to import a user edited picture into EMS before, but I was dashed until I was told that why I can not insert user defined picture in EMS of T68,the reason is quite simple:EMS just support WBMP format picture!!! so I converted a small BW picture into wbmp format, than put it into T68, after that ,I found that the total file of EMS supported picture become 31!!! ~~Cool~~~~~!!!
TIPS: 1, user defined picture file must be less than 32X32 ,
2, user defined picture file must be BW format,
3 user defined picture must be converted to WBMP format before transform to phone.
The converter tools include: Photoshop7.x,graphics converter pro, image transformer pro, WBMP generater etc...
