> Should i upgrade to the P1

Hi All,
I have the P990 and really like it but i'm thinking of upgrading to the P1, mainly because of the P1 better cam. Is there anymore reasons why i should upgrade or should i go for something else, N95!!!! hate Nokia phones everone one i have had has been rubbish, but the N95 on paper looks good.

You can get thw W960 instead of P1 in my opinion. It is a music smartphone. If you like the camera and it's picture quality, you can go for the P1. But keep in mind that the W960 has the same camera compared to the p1

Myself I never upgraded to the 990, i stuck with my 910 for ages till the p1 came out. 910->p1 was an excellent upgrade, imho.
As for 990 to p1 I guess it all depends on what you want. I don't think there is enough difference between the 990 and p1 to warrant an upgrade myself - but then I guess it depends on your particular experiance with the 990. If you don't have any problems with it, find it stable enough and it meets your needs currently then I'd wait for much fabled p3 (or what ever it will be called).

thanks for the info, i'm gonna stay loyal to SE, so no N95, so its either P1 or W950, as i do like to listen to a lot of music on the go, but not sure about its looks !!!

the p1i is an improvement over the p990 but if your only upgrading becasue of the camera then i think you will be disapointed. not only is the overal quality no where near SE's other 3.2MP phones - its also had a noticable green tint on the right hand side.
So the p1i doesn't have a much better camera than the p990 but it has got more RAM and is much more stable phone. And it has a great qwerty keyboard for its small size.

well, P1i is quite good IMO, the only real difference with the P990 is only the RAM and keyboard. how do you find the ram in P990 so far? can u live with the latest firmware?

If it weren't for my P990i's worst mobile experience, I wouldn't have known that a non-querty, non-touchscreen S60 phone with superb mobile camera could do wonders for me. For me my N95 is the best mobile I have. The P990i totally ripped my trust from SE. I have been a loyal costumer since they release the P800 and have not missed a P - until now. So, God bless the broken road that lead me straight to my N95.
