Seems like Google hasn't made the java app available for K850i yet... It only directs me to using the mobile web version instead.
Anyone have the .jar-file for gmail java as I really want gmail to work asap instead of having to go via wap...

I found an gmail v1.5 and also the older versions but none of them work since the gmail app doesn't cope with the three menu buttons...
So you actually can't open any emails in your inbox.
This sucks... I really use(d) the gmail app a lot.

i just sent them a comment and mentioned it currently isnt working for k850 and unsure if they support w910
also i mentioned they should have a page which actually shows which phones are compatible

Try downloading the nokia version. Nokia phones have had a 3 button interface 4 a while.
And its odd that it doesn't work due to the 3 buttons... j2me is abstracted to cope with those situations.. (different button configs with different phones)

why not just use the pop/imap email and set it up to fetch your gmail. its better that way imho
