Care of
www.gsmarena.com :
The Motorola RAZR2 sports a new outfit for this holiday season, with a limited series of handsets coming with a gold-plated body and soft snake-skin-like back. The new bling-bling style would most definitely magnetize fashionistas.
The Motorola RAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition has the same functionality as the original Moto RAZR2 V8 (expect our review next week) but just as a spoiler, we would mention the slim 12.05 mm body and the main 2.2" QVGA TFT display, as well as the external 2" QVGA TFT display with touch sensitive keys. A 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and up to 2GB of integrated memory complete the set of features. Unfortunately, there is no 3G or HSDPA support, nor memory card slot.
The device has some stunning accessories though, such as the Motorola H680 Bluetooth headset with 18 carat gold-plated accents and a matching patent leather carrying case.

How about giving the V9 a nice color change instead of horrorizing the one actually available in a decent color?

OMFG, when will people learn Gold and phones don't mix, it looks unbelievably tacky!!!.
Just like that lovely D&G V3.
The only phones that get away with precious metals are Vertu, but some of those are hideous as well, and they are usually White Gold or Platinum not Tacky Ass Yellow Gold
