Im thinking of switching from oranges Payg plan which is £3 per MB as its costing me well too much.

I mostly use my phone now for mobile web and email.

what's the best plan to go with .....

T-Mobiles web&walk @ £1 per day

or o2's new £7.50 per month bolt on for mobile data.

What do you think is the better deal o2's or t-mobiles packages.

Also how does the t-mobile web and walk £1 perday work?...are you capped at £1

Thanks

In Swaziland we have MTN payg and its charges are so great. You get your starter pack at aproximately 2.2 pounds and get connected. When using gprs you use it at ninety cents for as long as you like. Either you dowload or do whatever. I dont know if it can offer the same services even in you country. For the past six months I have not aeen getting a charge from the operator. There are even discounted call rates.

@j213-You need to seriously amend your gprs plan.I'm on Orange payg and only pay a pound per day for unlimited 3g access.Orange also offer 7 days of access for 5 pounds.Hope this helps.

You can't use the O2 Web Bolt On on PAYG. It's for Pay Monthly only.

If you go with T-Mobile they offer web 'n' walk for £7.50/month unlimited (1GB fair usage) as oppose to O2's £7.50/month for 200MB!

But as mswallis said O2 don't offer that bolt on with PAYG and I'm not sure If T-mobile do with theirs!

I do know you can activate it on T-Mobiles "Just Sim" which is a rolling month contract!

But not sure if you can have the bolt on with "simplicity" as O2 seem quite restrictive as to what you can do with simplicity hence the reason I have just gone with T-Mobiles "Just Sim 20".

Although I don't get as many minutes or texts with T-Mob as I would with O2, at least I can use my Blackberry and Web 'n' Walk (£7.50) with them which O2 told me I couldn't do!

Hope this makes sense and helps!

You can have the the £7.50 Unlimited Bolton with O2 PAYG. See here:
http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/paygo/paygoboltons0153

T-Mobile PAYG do not offer the unlimited bolton but its data is capped at £1 a day.

Yeah i thought it was available now on payg...

Still unsure though on which to go with ,what do you think the best deal is out of the two?

I was going to go with t-mobiles just sim package but i like to keep track of what im spending which is why id rather stick with a PAYG sim.

I'd go with the O2 deal, but then I'm biased because I've been with O2 for ages on P&G. I have an online sim, talkalotmore bolt on so I get free evening and weekend calls(Up to 300 mins), free txt(300) and free GPRS(1Mb) as standard. I belive O2 don't do talkalotmore on new online sim's now so you'd have to buy one from an O2 shop.

Hmm still undecided on who to go with.

Ive just noticed 3 do some cracking deals on their payg plans now and as there sims are now comptible with all phones seems a great deal.

Id say my usage was say 2mb of web a day on the phone thats including retrieving emails.

So its either t -mobiles payg web&walk (not sim only package)

o2's Payg sim with the 7.50 per month bolt on.....doesant this also include 300 txts .etc.

Or 3gs new payg plan.
