Hi all,

Just about to buy myself a P1 and am wondering does it work with a GPS reciever and which is the best.

I have Googlemaps, but don't use it with GPS. I only sometimes use my gps to navigate when i'm driving in a strange city.

Not with the current version of GoogleMaps Mobile. There is another program called MGMaps which supports several of the online map formats AND supports GPS modules.

Its also easier to use than google maps, imho.

Unless I am completely wrong which has been known before,

TomTom maps are TomTom maps no matter which device they are used on!!

They are saved in the file as .mid no matter what format of TomTom you use to read them!
