Is it me, or is there no "currently playing" feature on the P1i music player if you close the application? Ie. After i close my music player, it won't remember where what was the last track i played. I know it allows resuming if the application is left open but I don't have to have the music player minimized all the time. On the W900i there is this feature so I'm wondering if they really left this out or did they just bury some option to enable it somewhere?

As far as I know, and i use the music player on my P1 a fair amount, there is no option to enable this. Once you exit from the "playing now" view (back to the track list or playlist view) the music player will not keep its last position.
However, I keep mine switched onto random play - so that might be the reason for this behaviour.

There is ,try this:play some music then press and hold the return key. untill you are at the main menu, works here

All that does is minimize the music player right? What i mean is that if you quit the music player app, can you get it to resume playback from the track you last played. I know the resume thing works if the app is actually still running in the background.

well...i do end the music player (via task manager or swiss manager), and when when i hit play on my hbh ds970 headset, it does play from the point were i where before...i use this a lot because i listen to alot of podcasts...
however, i do not see a way of do it on the P1 itself, because unlike the P990 it does not have a dedicated button...
a solution is to use a 3rd party media player like LCG Jukebox...it does work

Ah, unfortunately I'm using the cheap HPM-70 (the one with only 1 answer/reject call button) so that won't work for me. It's strange that such a feature is only accessible via hardware and not via software, which leaves me to think that the feature was intentionally removed. Anyway, I've since bought LCG Jukebox. It's feature packed but i feel is rather expensive for a piece of mobile software.
