Is there a program that can manage profiles on the P1. I would like to put the phone into meeting or office mode where it only beeps or vibrates. The only options available are either silence or on. Help please.

No, there is no profiles support in the P1. The p series have famously never had one.

here there is currently no UIQ3 profile software, although it is often asked for...
to get vibrating alerts only, go into control panel > device > sounds and alerts > vibrating alerts and ensure that the various components are set to "on if silent"
then to quickly switch to your "meeting mode" (i.e. vibrate only) just press and hold the # key while on the standby screen.
Press and hold again to resume sounds

I wish you could have profiles, that would be cool. I am now trying to set up the active sync here at work! Battling!
