ok, i am really unsure which phone to go for.

I have ordered both the k850i and w910i and both will be with me tomorrow.

I am not sure which to go for though. At the moment i have a k810i and have been really happy with it in all areas. I use the camera quite a lot so the logical phone is the k850i but i really dont like the look of the phone.

The w910i i really like the look of but it only has a 2 mp camera. The thing is i know the k850i will take better pictures but how much better are they? i mean i have seen some posts on here where pics were taken with a 2mp camera and they were by far the best pics i have ever seen. I dont want to get really caught up in the megapixel race and know full well that the more megapixels there are dont just mean better pics.

Does anyone on here have any pics taken with a w910i?

I do have a 8.1 cybershot camera at home which will take far better pics but i like the fact that i can get decent pictures from my phone as i dont carry my main camera around with me all the time.

w910i obviously has the latest walkman player but i understand that k850i also has a version of this with mega-bass also.

which of the 2 handsets has the better video recording? I know there has been a lot of debate about the k850i and if it records at 30fps. Does it? and what about the w910i? is this the same?

looks wise it would have to be the w910i but am just concerned about the 2mp camera, is it a really big drop from the k810i/k850i? Is it good enough for everyday snapping as i do have a dedicated camera at home also?

what else do both handsets have going for them compared to each other?

please help

At first i didn't like the K850 design at all, but now i think it is one of the best designed phones on the market.

The w910 doesn't have auto focus so it wont take that good pictures. It has larger screen (if it matters to you?)

On the other hand k850 has almost superior 5mp cam (for being a cellphone) and do support both micro SD(transflash) and M2 memmory cards. K850 do also have walkmanplayer and megabass.

thanks for the replies

if it were looks alone then there is no doubt i would go for the w910i. I can also get that free on a flex25 contract (£25 per month)

The k850i will be on a flex35 (£35 per month)

I am just hoping that when i get the two of them together the k850i will win me over

mate i think u should calm down with ur excitedness and total bias of k850.

wots so good about w910? well for a start its tiny, thin, feels really nice in the hand, is really easy to use (probably has the easiest keypad/dpad out of all se phones). most thin phones normally suffer from poor ergonomics such as w880, which u have 2 press buttons with ur fingernails.

also it has a lot of other features such as the accelorometer, hsdpa, and all the new menu features that k850 has (such as revised inbox settings, smart search etc)

unless u want the better quality camera (which the k850 definatly has), then wot reason is there 2 go for a k850 over a much smaller neater device that does everything else the k850 does??

oh did i mention, the screen is also much bigger on w910 as well, making browsin the internet nicer.

saying it cant even be compared to a k850i is just ridiculous, of course it can. as i said, apart from cam, wot else is so much superior on k850i that it cant even be put next to w910i??

i would go 4 w910 anytime unless i REALLY wanted the better pic quality

@jazzyc

Would be great if you could post plenty of pics of the w910 next to the k850 for size comparison. I've got the same decision to make and many other people will have too.

I would say the K850 but I like the idea of the W910 being 89g

Look ,
I see that you care about the Camera and like to take good pictures right ?
Well , then since your a camera freak just like me , i would say go for K850
Obviously 2MP (WITHOUT AF) VS . 5MP (WITH AUTOFOCUS) , The K850 will definately take better and great pictures
I am not sure whether K850 has WiFi or not , but the W910 Doesn't have WiFi , and IF the K850 does have WiFi , then you don't need to think anymore , just go with K850 ...

The Design of W910 is good , and looks aswell , the cellfonee seems very awesome ...
But TBH the K850 isn't bad either , it looks cool too , especially the green one ( IMO )

I'd say go for K850 ... if it has WiFi , THEN DON'T THINK AT ALL, JUST TAKE K850 , If K850 doesn't have WiFi you should still take it

So in short , TAKE THE K850 NO MATTER WHAT !

i think w910 is very very nice...but i also think its little expensive compared to k850.....(if w910 at least had a k750 camera (autofocus, etc) it should be more covet.............

well the w910i is the cheaper option for me £25 per month or £35 for the k850i.

Its just if i see the drop in camera quality being the big issue, like i said i have a dedicated digital camera also (sony w100 cybershot)

can anyone tell me if the video recording capabilities are the same on both phones i.e 30fps etc
