> Movie List on S710a

Hello There,
I have a S710a (love it). Both the phone and my MacBook have bluetooth. I'd like to send a file (plain text or RTF) to the phone via bluetooth. Then I'd like to open that on the phone. The file that I want to send over is a list of movies that I want to rent. It's about 30+ movies. I'm able to send the file over but the phone doesn't recognize the format. Does anyone know how to do this? Is there some sort of application that I can install on the phone that will do it?
Thanks for your help!

Well, i'm not sure what an s710a is, but if it is a HTC s710 you can create a .txt file (if macs support that - i'm not sure?) and then bluetooth that txt file to your s710 and then open it with ie on your phone.
This should work, hope it helps

I'm guessing he means the SE S710a -

If it won't support plain text files, you might be able to trick it into accepting the text in some other way - by pasting it into a contact on your mac and beaming it into the S710a's phone book for example?

Well when you add a plain text file in a mms it will show the contents.
Another way is to make a simple html page of it and store it in the phone's own internal memory. Then you can add a bookmark in the built-in wap browser and point it to "file:///tpa/user/other/yourfilename.htm".
(edit: I assumed you stored it in the 'other' directory. The default directory for non-music/video/theme/image files)

this is i found a way to make the notes!!!
make a txt file and then copy the next code, and paste it.
BEGIN:VNOTE
VERSION:1.1
BODY:PUT YOUR TEXT HERE!!!
DCREATED:20070712T150255Z
LAST-MODIFIED:20070920T015839Z
CLASS:PUBLIC
X-IRMC-LUID:000002000000
END:VNOTE
then int the bosy section you put your message there. note that you cannot do an ENTER here so you nned to separate the text so you can distinguish it!!.
then after you put the text, you sabe the file as note.vnt
then send it to your fone!!!!!!
