well i just called up sony ericsson australia
and they told me the w910 will be first out with the optus network
by the 26 of october this is because theres been 'delays.'
when i asked him why it says on the website available in australia and not in hong kong - but hong kong have gotten it before us,he says its because theres been network mix ups and thats been an issue.
so this inevitably means we could of have it before hong kong
pity.

edit:
also the reason why the w910 is delayed with the '3' company is because the phone has hsdpa - and they have to implement 3's software - the x series
http://xseries.three.com.au/xseries/
and what you can do with x series
http://xseries.three.com.au/xseries/what_xseries.shtml

as you can see its going to be like this
http://xseries.three.com.au/x[....]mobiles_seT650i_overview.shtml
t650 very nice high five!

X-Series looks like a good package. Would the Skype feature work via Wifi aswell as HSDPA?

@dark
i really wouldnt say its delayed. When i called TeleChoice (Optus Dealer) they said it would be close to end of October, so that date sounds about right.
Was in FoneZone (Telstra dealer) today and they are getting (or should i say expecting it ) the k850i (blue) in on the 22th of October. And the w910i not too long after. Im scared what Telstra is going to do with the phones branding wise, i mean, the current Next G handsets, well a lot of them, have Telstra logos on the phone and a Telstra button (takes you directly to Telstra internet) Fingers crossed they dont do this to the k850/w910.... Although i will be getting my business plan on Optus (for yes time ) so its all good their phones dont have any nasty logos...... Telstra had never done this to their phones, dont see why they need to do it now, even if they were the first network with HSDPA in Australia!

@dark
you sure 3 had hsdpa first? You do know 3 uses Telstra's towers right? I highly doubt they would have let 3 use it before them. And im fairly sure i saw Telstra advertising when it come out as the first network to do it!

im on voda, they suck!!!!
