Would it be good for people to answer your questions if they have the knowledge, or would you like someone to know nothing what are you asking about and post something irrelevant and make the thread looks longer ??
In My Honest Opinion, It's been a late trend that People in general are replying to posts that are asking for specific answer. Which they are clueless if these answers exists or able to provide a opinion that is related to the question, thus leading the topic into a long and windy out of topic post.
What are your opinions ??
(I'm pretty bothered with this issue that might lead me to conclude that forums aren't the right source to ask a question with a pin point accuracy.)

hmmm, but they (forums) do give you different view points to a problem and therefore different solutions. as far the rubbish goes, you can always differentiate between a guess answer and an answer from someone who truly has the knowledge. But yeh a forum does have a combination of both.
