Ok well im doing a speech tomorrow in business studies about the sony playstation (ps1, ps2, ps3 and psp) and i need to find out the original prices of each in th uk. I cant find it on wiki..
So if yu can please help me out here i would really appreciate it! Thanks

Also PLEASE.. if anybody has some stastics (and a link) if PS1s sold VS n64s sold, and PS2 and Gamecube and XBOX, and PS3 and Wii and XBOX 360! Thanks for helping

Its got all sorts of info about the PS1, something I didn't know...they only stopped production of the PS1 last year.

You should be able to look at PS2 from there also

The original Playstation was launched in the UK in September 1995 and had a RRP of £299.

I can't remember the date, but I bought my PS2 two months after it was first released in the UK (and the subsequent shortage) from the now defunct Dixons stores and it cost me £329.99 with one controller, one game but no memory card.

It was before that. I had one by then which I bought second hand
It was 24th november 2000.
The original playstation went on sale 9th september 1995
