> how to unlock sony vaio ux?

friend of mine bought it half yera ago, now it turned out, that its locked to cingular. him was told, he has to email to sony usa to get the unlock code. nay idea where to mail? did any of u the same procedure before? thx for any help

I googled this when the question was originally asked and every result I saw said that people got their unlock code direct from Sony US... unfortunately none gave an actual contact number though going to sony.com I'd suggest that a good starting point might be the vaio number given in
this link
