Drunken night out........ no idea if it fell outta my pocket or was lifted.... either way I've lost it.

This was a week ago, so whoever has it now has no intention of returning it to me.

Is it possible to get the phone blocked and if I did, were I to do so and it subsequently turned up, is the process reversible ?

Contact your operator, they should be able to block it - provided you know your imei.

Operators in the UK know your IMEI anyway as you need to give this to register it. They will block the phone and SIM.

That was my first thought but its an unlocked handset that I use a variety of PAYG sims in. Hence my willingness to take it on a drunken crawl.

DOH!

Oh well, all you can do is report the phone and IMEI to all the operators you use and have it blocked that way.
