Hi all,
As the title says, if any of you who owns a personal mp3 player (HD5) or even minidisc players can use the batteries that are supplied with them. All batteries that are sealed within the units are not compatible, ONLY the removeable ones. I find that the battery serves as a great backup battery however you can't really talk or use any battery intensive functions as it has only go 880mah.
Just thought I'd share this with fellow esatonians.

I have a P1i and a HD5. Thanks for the info. To me, the most interesting about this is: Will i be able to use a P1i battery in the HD5? My HD5 still works great, and I would love to get a more powerful battery for it.

Ps. I find that the HD5 and P1i sound quite different. What do you think?

hey there,
The battery on the p1i is slightly thicker to accomodate the 1000+mah. You would have to do special case modifications to get this in, i would say there is a 4mm thickness difference.
Im a keen ametuer audiophile, i would say each devise

Thanks. I'm also really interested in your opinion on sound quality on the HD5 vs the P1i. Personally, I'm very happy with my P1i as a MP2 player.
