i tried to upgrade my framware by update service but it says you have the latest software. i have a w800i which i never updated so i ont how to update i need your help on this.

If your phone is branded there is a chance you can't update your firmware. I couldn't update an old firmware on my K750i until I took it to repair so they had put an original non-branded firmware.
If your phone is not branded there is a chance that you do have the latest firmware.
