Yeah, a couple of pics i once took have ISO 320 and i once read here on esato thats its quite an achievement for a 2MP phone camera to even reach 250+, so thats why i ask if reaching 300+ was ordinary or not.
Pics were taken during day, but with night mode on.

well, i've read here that the lower the iso is the less noise you have in your photos.
why dont you try a modded camdriver?

My w800 once captured a pic with 1600 ISO.
It was a very dark room and the EV was +2, night mode on and flash on. This was without any modified drivers. But the pic was ...........Too Noisy!

ISO speed rating has no correlation with the number of pixels on a sensor. ISO rating simply indicates how much the signal from the sensor is amplified. This increases sensitivity to low light but also the amount of noise in the picture, especially with CMOS sensors.

yep, this is right.
@qvga: if im not mistaken, it seems that the photo was taken in indoors under artifitial light. this is normal. if you comparte an outdoor pic with this one, you will see that the indoor has more ISO than the outdoor's.
