Yeah, the other person was actually in the room with me, we were testing! He has an N95 and we both had a 3g signal.

Vodafone - thru a business supplier. They reckon we have it activated on our company account. Is it worth me ringing voda's own customer support to double check?

Yeah, I would. They may have to send either/both of you some settings in a txt message.

I assume that your mate is accepting the call as a video call and not just as a voice call...

At my end there's NO need for 3G/Video Call settings/configurations .. . as long as the recognizes the 3G signal then it's a GOOOOOOOOO !

My brother in law phoned me yesterday and he has upgraded to a N95, but said he couldn't get the video call to work, mine seems to work (we are both on O2), I told him to ring O2 as the sim card he has is about 6 years old and he needs a 3G one.

Ah, if you need a special card for it then it may be the case (not called 'em yet) although 3G "internet" works fine...

If your 3G internet works then you will not need a new SIM-card.
