hi, can anyone tell me why my k800i wont switch on...when i press the on button the infrared light flashes but the phone dosent switch on.

Instal USB Flash Driver, download WotanClient, click Start, press 2 and 5 of your phone simultaneously, plug in the cable and let Wotan updates your EROM for free.
Hope it works.

hi, tried updating my K800i with wotan client but it showed failed. i also tried with SEUS but it could not identify the phone. whenever i try swiching it on it flashes a red light on the ifra red port, does it mean i have to update the EROM or the FIRMWARE? secondly, how do i chech if my phone is RED or what firmware it uses, as i need to know the specific details of it before flasing since i bought it from the streets hence no manual for it and i cant acces the hidden seting s on the phone since it cant switch on. Also how can i get free firmware or erom update since i cant get credit as i live in a country where paying throuh the net is not yet possible. Pliz Pliz help!!!

try using setool2 lite 1.08 connect the phone holding down 2+5 and press unlock/repair

@lmk: did you install the usbflash driver? if seus or wotan doesnt detect the phone means that the driver is not installed, i guess

get the driver from here
